WELCOME TO SMOKY HILL EDUCATION EVENT INFORMATION
If you love animals and teach kids, then this is the workshop for you! Learn ways to integrate animals, conservation, adaptations, and culture in science, writing, technology, and STEM. There will be hands-on STEM activities for you to try, create, and adapt to fit your classroom and students. Brainstorming time will be given to create lessons for your classroom so you are ready to go when school starts in the fall. The goal is to inspire and motivate teachers with hands-on learning ideas to utilize in their classrooms in the areas of STEM. This workshop will have a K-6 focus, although activities and lessons can be altered to fit into higher grade levels.
