Reading Specialist, Interventionist, and MTSS Teacher Cadre

Small group teaching positions come with a constant amount of change and redundancy.  This cadre will work our way through the year: from screening data, putting MTSS groupings together, and scaffolding instructional strategies to meet the needs of each student.  We will evaluate different teaching strategies as we gain data points and grow relationships with our students. We will discuss how to keep our small groups engaged and work collaboratively with classroom teachers. Our consultant, Robin Anderson will lead discussions on how to know which instructional group a student falls under and what to do if that instructional strategy doesn’t seem to be working. Various topics will be addressed mainly at the direction of cadre participants. This will be a chance to learn new techniques and pick up a tip or trick from each other.  This cadre will meet quarterly and would love for you to join us at all or as many times as your schedule allows.
