The Kansas Annual CTE Conference is an engaging and exciting event for all CTE Teachers, Coordinators, and Administrators. Partnering with Kansas workforce and technical schools, the content helps schools move beyond the common into the unexpected! The conference will feature relevant presenters and breakout sessions—network with the KSDE CTE team and like-subject teachers. Sponsored by KAESA and KSDE, this conference is a must-attend!

- 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. - Enhancing Your Teaching Skills - Kansas Center for Career and Technical Education (KCCTE) - This interactive roundtable session invites Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers to share and explore innovative approaches to improving teaching effectiveness in today’s dynamic learning environments. Participants will engage in guided discussions focused on practical strategies for enhancing lab supervision and safety, performance assessments, positive student relationships and alternative teaching methods.

Get ready for a fun-filled and engaging conference experience on Tuesday! We’ll kick things off with an exciting opening session featuring Amy Hillman, Todd Roberts, and high school students from the Kansas Future Teacher Academy, plus a few quick updates from KSDE. Throughout the day, dive into a large selection of breakout sessions covering a wide variety of topics. There’s something for everyone! These include KSDE cluster-specific updates and regional workforce discussions, all scheduled with a staggered lunch to keep things running smoothly. Visit vendor booths all day long and join in on our interactive scavenger hunt for a chance to win prizes during Wednesday’s closing keynote with Dr. Randy Watson (you must be present to win!). We’ll wrap up the day with Perkins Consortium meetings before heading to the KCCTE Eras Tour from 4:30–5:30 p.m., a fun and interactive social where you can explore each “era” of KCCTE support: Mentoring, Resources, Workshops, and Coursework. Enjoy light snacks, refreshments, and a special giveaway at the end. Everyone is invited to join in on the fun! We can’t wait to see you on Tuesday! Come ready to learn, connect, and be inspired!
